My name is William Newton
I’m from Hilton Head, South Carolina
I’m a rising senior at the University of South Carolina, pursuing a degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Darla Moore School of Business.
I was a camper for 5 years (2010-’11, ’16-’18)
This is my first year on staff
I’m teaching paddling
Early bird or night owl? I am much more of a night owl. I like to stay up late, whether it’s going out with friends, or even just staying in and watching TV.
If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, I would really love to live in Switzerland. I love to ski, and would love the opportunity to ski the Swiss Alps.
My favorite way to get in some exercise? I like going on many different adventures to get exercise, whether that be paddling, skiing, hiking, climbing, or playing sports.
My fun fact is that I was featured in a Disney Channel commercial. I was walking in Disney World and the director saw me and asked me to be in the commercial with the TV stars.
