Alli Kilby

Food Services Director

Alli Kilby is our Food Services Director, leading the activity at camp that everyone participates in three times a day: mealtime! Alli heads up Falling Creek’s culinary team by planning the delicious meals in the Dining Hall, making sure the trips are stocked with nutritious food, and keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly.

Alli was born in Charleston, SC, but fell in love with the mountains very quickly and spent all of her summers here in NC. She graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a math degree, which she now uses to scale recipes. She has decades of experience in summer camp kitchens, having started work at Camp Greystone in 2002 as a high school student. She continued to work there and grow her skills for the next 22 years, and now brings all of that expertise to the Falling Creek kitchen.
In her free time, she loves to read young adult novels as an escape, try new recipes, sit by a fire even if it’s 80 degrees outside, travel to the beach, and people watch. Alli lives in nearby Flat Rock with her husband Josh, their daughter Murphy, and their son Arlo. However, their first child is their black lab, Moose.
