- I’m known as Gemma/Gem
- I’m from South Africa
- I’m currently guiding adventure trips in South Africa, exploring scrambling and Trad climbing routes on Table Mountain and taking a course on learning efficiency.
- This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
- I’m teaching backpacking and paddling
- Early bird or night owl? Both at different stretches of my life. More of an early bird for the moment.
- If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, I would choose New Zealand. Beautiful nature, developed adventure sports scene, (especially canyoneering), and I have a few very good friends there.
- My favorite way to get in some exercise is by rock climbing, white-water paddling, or martial arts.
- I’m most looking forward to learning new river running skills!
