Thomas Followill

  • My name is Thomas
  • I’m from Atlanta, GA
  • I am a current Junior at Appalachian State University, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Business Psychology.
  • This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
  • I’m teaching mountain biking
  • Early bird or night owl? I am definitely a night owl.
  • If I had my own late night talk show, who would be my first guest? Hmmm… really tough question. I would say Kevin Hart. He is one of my favorite actors / comedians, and I think he would have some really funny and interesting stories to tell!
  • My favorite holiday? I would probably say The Fourth of July. It is always an all time high for everyone. Summer vibes, grilling out, fire works, and of course celebrating our country’s freedom. You just can’t beat it!
  • If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, it would probably have to be New Zealand. They have insane mountain bike parks, beautiful landscapes, and also the fact that the seasons are reversed, so it will be spring and summer time during January and February!
  • My favorite way to get in some exercise? Besides mountain biking, I love to play golf, lift weights, and ski in the winter!
  • Fun Fact: I am a huge car nerd. I love talking about cars, going for drives, and watching racing! I would say my favorite car is a Ferrari 812 Superfast. Besides cars, I am an avid fan of watching Motocross and Supercross! Even though my parents never let me have a dirt bike, it didn’t stop me from loving the sport!
  • This will be my first time being a camp counselor, so I am excited to get out of my comfort zone, try something new, and just have new experiences! I am looking forward to meeting all of the counselors and campers and creating some life long friendships! I am also looking forward to teaching mountain biking and helping campers perfect their skills on a bike!
