Gregor Innes

  • My name is Gregor
  • I’m from Scotland - UK
  • This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
  • I’m teaching riflery and archery
  • I’m currently working as an agricultural mechanic under the ‘CLAAS’ brand of machinery. Graduated from college in October 2022. My role involves the service & repair of a range of machinery including but not limited to tractors, combine harvesters & telehandlers.
  • Early bird or night owl? I’m definantly a night owl
  • Who would be my first guest if I had my own talk show? Talk shows aren’t actually something I watch, at least not regularly. I’d probably invite someone like Gino D’Acampo. He always has a funny story to tell & has that bubbly fun personality. It would be interesting to hear more about the road trip with Fred & Gordon.
  • What was my favorite holiday? I’d say my recent trip around central America with ‘G-adventures’. We started in playa del carmen Mexico & finished in San Jose Costa Rica. This trip in particular stands out because of the variety of individuals from all over the world which were in the travel group. Getting to know them & sharing the experience really made it. Not to mention the various activities we got to do including, Volcano boarding, snorkelling, surfing, bungee jump & sloth walk in Costa Rica. Plus many many more.
  • If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would I choose? Oh I’d probably go ‘down under’ in Australia, would love to explore places like the blue mountains, the great barrier reef, Tasmania & the many beaches. A whole year sounds like a whole lot of fun.
  • My favorite way to get in some exercise is with a nice walk through somewhere new. Currently I live on a farm so i’m surrounded by countryside to explore. I have been known to take part in charity ‘mud runs’ from time to time these are usually 5 or 10km & involve running through different obstacles on the way.
  • Fun Fact: I can at times be slightly clumsy.. so.. once I lost my van keys after searching high & low they were found in the fridge!
  • This summer, I’m hoping to perfect my marshmallow toasting skills… But more importantly I’m looking forward to meeting new people & learning about the American culture. Any new skills I pick up along the way will be an added bonus. I’m sure the kids at camp will teach me just as much as I can teach them!
