My name is Carolyn Smyth
I’m known as Care
I’m from Cave Spring, GA
I’m graduating from Georgia Southern University, with a degree in recreation and tourism management along with a minor in non-profit management. My graduation date is May, 9th and after I will be doing my internship at Falling Creek.
This is my 2nd year on staff at Falling Creek (’23-’24)
I’ll be teaching rock climbing
Early bird or night owl? At camp, I am a night owl. Getting up in the morning was a tough one.
If I had my own late night talk show, the first guest I would invite on would be Jimmy Fallon so I can learn from the best.
My favorite holiday? I don’t have one. If I had to pick, one that resulted in a 3 day weekend
If I could pick anywhere in the world to live for a year, I would choose New Zealand for its rich culture and amazing landscape
My favorite way to exercise is going on walks with my dog
Fun fact: I was on a jump rope team in elementary school in which I still know most of the tricks.
I am looking forward to learning more about climbing and the skills I will retain from it.
