Father / Son Weekend 2008
Information about Father / Son Weekend 2008 will be available on the Falling Creek website in mid August.
Imagine, you and your Dad spending an action filled weekend up in the mountains of Western North Carolina! Do you like to climb? What about canoeing? Shooting a rifle? Have you ever tried a high ropes course? Do you like to relax and go fishing or play ping-pong and foosball?
These are just some of the activities that you will get to participate in at Falling Creek's annual Father / Son Weekend. Mark your calendars now for May 16-18, 2008 for a full range of activities, geared for fathers and sons of all ages.
Designed specifically for first time campers, this will be a great weekend to learn about what Falling Creek has to offer and to enjoy your time together.
Accommodations will be provided in our rustic cabins. Each cabin has electricity and a bathroom. You will be grouped with one or more other families with similar aged boys. Or you may request to be in a cabin with another family you already know. Meals are served 'family style' in our dining hall.
Fathers and sons new to Falling Creek will be enrolled on a first come-first served basis. Applications from returning father/son pairs and campers who have already attended Falling Creek will be held in a separate file in the order received. On March 1, 2008, returning campers and father/son pairs will then be enrolled as space allows.
