Session Descriptions

Falling Creek is a traditional boys summer camp in that we have a balanced program with structured instructional activities. There are several sessions to choose from to fit a campers experience.

June Camp

Falling Creek’s June session is a good choice for first time campers excited about all that camp has to offer. It’s also a logical next step for a boy who has attended a shorter session. The 20-day session offers a wide variety of activities and allows boys an opportunity to build self-confidence as they improve their skills. Campers live in cabin groups of eight and choose their six favorite activities to make up their daily schedule.

They also have an opportunity to participate in many out of camp trips including mountain biking, paddling, rock climbing, and backpacking.

Main Camp

Main Camp is Falling Creek’s premier session. Four weeks allows time for our camp community to bond and strong friendships to be formed. Campers experience personal growth as they build on successes each week. Longer trips are offered and opportunities for leadership are a central focus. The FLINT program for 10th grade boys and STEEL (formerly the Counselor-in-Training program), Honor Council, and many traditions that take place the last week of the session are only offered during Main Camp. Most campers aspire to ultimately attend Main Camp.

It is truly a blessing to have such a great Christian based camp that teaches the boys values and how to become a better individual. Thanks for all of the time that you [Yates] and your staff invests into making this camp what it is!” -James & Ashley Loging from Laurens, SC (Parents)

Our summer camp has a roller coaster that splashes into the lake!

2-Week Camp

Falling Creek’s 2-Week session is a well-rounded camp experience for less seasoned campers. The activity schedule is similar to June and Main camp with six daily activity periods, but with fewer out of camp trips. Boys enjoy a wide variety of activities and generally look forward to attending a longer session the following summer.
