Marisa and Yates were thrilled to see so many Falling Creek campers and their families, as well as FCC staff at the finals on Sunday. They came from more than five different states to be a part of the big events. You guys are awesome! Jez and LiLi remarked that it was like paddling in front of your own home crowd.

Jez said later that day “Probably the most amazing summer of my life. Got to be a part of getting a bunch of kids fired up on boating, trips to east TN, an expedition trip to Costa Rica, and the most exciting World Championships ever with my friends cheering me on, full circle competing on the same rivers I learnt on, with a podium finish as well! Nothing could top this summer, my life is fantastic.”
