To all of the campers, staff, families, and friends of Falling Creek, we would like to extend our warmest holiday wishes. During this time of year, we enjoy reflecting on the experiences and friendships made over the past summer. As 2007 commences, we begin to look forward to the numerous opportunities of the coming summer.

Here is a quick update on what has been happening around camp during the beginning of winter. Jerry, Patrick, Simon, Ben, and George have been busy building the two new cabins for the Catawba Line and the Kitchen Staff.

Frank and Phil have been hard at work on schematics for the new FCC rope swing. There are many designs to throw around and we want to get the best ride the safest way possible. Yates has been a true road warrior, visiting multiple cities showing the new 2007 DVD to families up and down the east coast. You can read all about his adventures at the “”http://www.fallingcreek.com/whats-new/news/“>What’s New” section of the web site. Ben and Phil will be getting their first taste of traveling in January as they hit the road recruiting staff. Please see the FCC Calendar to see where they will be.

Chris and Claudette are anxiously expecting the arrival of their first child over the Holidays and Patrick and Amy are expecting a new arrival of their own as well. It promises to by an exciting time for the FCC family over the Holidays for sure.

Merry Christmas from Falling Creek

If you’ve never visited Falling Creek, we invite you to call the camp office and set up a tour. Whether it’s on a weekend, a day off from school during the week, or over a school holiday, we will be more than happy to give you and your family a personal tour. On April 21st and 22nd, we have an Open House Weekend at camp. Several activities will be open and numerous summer staff members will be present along with the Directors to answer any questions about a summer camping experience at Falling Creek.

Be sure to log on to see Who’s Coming for the Summer of 2007. Enrollment has been positive, so make sure you secure you place for June Camp, Main Camp, August camp, or Junior Camp.

The Falling Creek office will close for the holidays on Friday afternoon, December 15th and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd. We will periodically check mail, phone and email.

Enjoy your Holiday Season,

Yates, Marisa, Chris, Phil, Ben, Frank, Susan, and Claudia
