Yates traveled to Dusty and Mary Lou Davis’ home in Birmingham, AL on Monday in route to New Orleans. Cole, Honey and Chase joined their parents as fabulous hosts and helped Yates to break up the long drive.
Upon arriving in New Orleans on Tuesday, October 17, Yates was greeted with a full house at the Van Horn’s home. In addition to the many new families he was pleased to meet, Yates had the chance to catch up with 12 returning campers that were eager to reunite and see the new release of the Falling Creek “movie”.
The boys were excited to be a part of the big drawing for the Eli Manning autographed 2007 Jersey. All Falling Creek 2007 campers who had enrolled by October 15 had their names placed in a hat for the drawing. Eli, who grew up in New Orleans and went to Falling Creek in the early 90’s, was very gracious to sign a jersey for one of the boys to win. Knox performed the honors and drew Clay from Louisville, KY’s name as the official winner of the Eli Manning autographed 2007 Jersey.
Thanks to all of you for your support of Falling Creek. We are excited to report that enrollment is way ahead of previous years at this point. Applications have actually been pouring into the office over the past couple of weeks. If you are interested in being a part of the exciting 2007 summer programs, please send in your application now so we can hold your spot in the session you prefer. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
