Falling Creek Rides into the Horse Capital of The World

FCC Lexington 10-17-13

I know Skittles the FCC horse wishes he was at the Keeneland Races today, but Yates was in Lexington, KY for another reason, the annual Falling Creek Camp movies and reunion. Kayla and Jeff Monohan hosted this fun event in their beautiful home. Their son Clay was a big help tonight and he will be returning to FCC for the 2014 summer.

Sam Lyons, a Lexington native and long time FCC camper, CIT, and staff member in 2013, took time away from his busy Asbury University schedule to come to see everyone, and no he did not get on a table and start into a big rendition of “chartreuse buzzard”.

Yates was thrilled to reconnect with Eric Cowden, a camper in the 80’s and 90’ when Yates was at FCC. He brought his son tonight to show him the camp that he loved when he was his son’s age.

Many thanks again to the Monohan’s for their wonderful hospitality!
