The Fall Camp Movies and Reunion Tour has started. Yates traveled a short distance south from camp on Thursday, September 29 to Greenville, SC where Alex and Parker Crawford hosted a large group of families.
There were a number of fathers who were Falling Creek Campers back in the 70’s and 80’s. They were excited to introduce their camp to their sons. Some have attended the Father/Son Weekend at camp with their boys. Dr. Tim Brown, and his son Sandon, came to the show. Tim was the camp doctor for a week during main camp this past summer. Tim was also a camper for 5 years in the 70’s and his mother was a nurse during some of those summers. Sandon will be returning to camp in 2012, attending the the August Session.
Richard Mackintosh, who was instrumental in taking the Woodworking program to new levels during the 2009 and 2010 summers, took time out of his busy schedule to come greet all the returning FCC campers and share his enthusiasm for FCC with the new families who came to learn more about camp.
Many thanks to the Crawfords for kicking off the Fall movie tour. Please check out Yates’ travel schedule and plan to attend the reunion and movie show when he’s coming to your area.
