Yates traveled to Birmingham, where Mary and Crawford McInnis hosted the Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion. Their son Ford will be returning to Main camp for his 7th summer. There were about equal numbers of new camp families and returning campers who shared their camp experiences with the group.

Crawford McInnis was a camper when Yates was a counselor. In fact, his son Ford has followed in his dad’s footsteps when it comes to paddling, as they both went on as many trips as they could. Gary Long, Frederic Smith, Hayward Edmunds, and Chandler Bailey, all are dads who came tonight and are FCC veterans and are enjoying having their sons at camp now.
