Our Nation's Capital

Yates made his way north to Alexandria, VA where Jane and Jason Spence hosted the Washington, DC area Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion at their wonderful home. Their sons, Campbell and Parker, were a tremendous help to Yates tonight.

The boys and dads who have attended Father/Son Weekends joined with FCC alumni for a fantastic group photo. David Ritchey, 7th from left in the back row, was a camper in Yates' cabin at FCC in the late 80's and is now thrilled to be sharing his Falling Creek experience with both of his sons. Tonights event was captured on Facebook Live. Please check out the recording on the Falling Creek Facebook page. Since everyone who attends one of these camp movies/reunions receives an exclusive trunk sticker, we will send this trunk sticker to all of those that like the Facebook Live broadcast/recording, share it, and then tell us your contact info so we can mail it to you.

A special thanks to Catherine and Clay McCullough for managing the group and the evening and also a big thank you to Beezer and Emily Molten for hosting the event in their Half-Moon Outfitters big store in West Ashley.

The City Beautiful

Orlando’s nickname is very fitting for the location of the Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion tonight. Laura and Brett Lawton’s home was a beautiful setting and Yates enjoyed meeting so many new families who came to learn more about camp.

The veteran campers were a super help to Yates tonight answering so many good questions from these younger boys who are learning why we love Falling Creek. Pat Mulloy (back left), who went to FCC when he was their age, was joined by dads who have attended Father/Son Weekend. As promised, Chris Garbo (second from back right) drove down from the University of Florida to help Yates explain why he loved being a camper, CIT, and counselor. The veteran campers were a super help to Yates tonight answering so many good questions from these younger boys who are learning why we love Falling Creek.
