Kicking Off with Greenville and Atlanta!

Yates is beginning the FCC Movie Show and Reunion travel this week in Greenville and Atlanta.

If you are near either show, we invite you to stop by and check out the new DVD and reunite with camp friends in the area. If you’re new to Falling Creek, it is a great time to meet the Directors and see what makes Falling Creek such a world-class boys summer camp.

He’ll also be handing out the 2011 Limited Edition Trunk Sticker. The stickers are only available to campers who attend a movie show this year.

Yates’ first stop is in Greenville, South Carolina, on Thursday (9/23) at 6:30pm, followed by Atlanta on Sunday (9/26) at 6:30pm.

If you can’t make Greenville or Atlanta, check our Travel Calendar to see when Yates will be in your town. Call camp for RSVP information and to ask directions to the shows.

We look forward to seeing you on the road!

Green & Gold Book

Check your mailbox for the 2010 Green & Gold book! The envelope contains the book, a photo for each camper, and a copy of the latest camp newsletter.

You may notice that this year’s book has a lot more pages than previous years. In addition to adding each camper’s cabin and parent e-mail address, we put cabin photos from each session in the Green & Gold. It is a great historical record of your amazing summer at Falling Creek!

Also look inside for the much requested “Leaving on a Zip Line” chords & lyrics adapted by Matt and Corey.

This year the Green and Gold booklet is dedicated to Robert Eshleman and Will Gordon. Both are long-time campers and multi-year counselors.

If you want to look back on some of the original Green & Gold books, check out our archives. It is neat to see all of the tradition and history they contain.
