Yates was thrilled to meet many new families and reconnect with lots of the ATL area Falling Creek Camp community at the first Camp Movies and Reunion event held tonight at Mary and Frank Jackson’s home in Atlanta, GA. The group photo shows all the boys, staff, alumni, and dads who have attended Father/Son Weekend with their sons.

Robert, Steve, and Yates were all campers at FCC in the 1980’s. Robert’s son Robbie will be returning to North Carolina to be at Falling Creek for his 8th summer. Yates and Steve were CIT’s together in 1984 and 1985 but have not seen each other since their boys camp days until tonight. Steve’s son came to learn more about camp tonight.

Frank and Yates grew up together in Charlotte, North Carolina. They not only attended Country Day and were in Troop 55 at Myers Park Presbyterian Church together, but they also were campers and counselors on the paddling staff at FCC together. Ben Broadhead, a music, HEAT, and Mtn. Biking counselor this past summer, took time out from his busy schedule at Ga Tech to come see everyone. Breaux Tubbs, who along with his older brother Trapp, were FCC campers from New Orleans. They both attend Sewanee. Breaux was a first year counselor this past summer and plans to return to FCC in 2016.
