This past weekend, Falling Creek hosted it’s inaugural Alumni Reunion. Over 40 Alumni, both campers and staff, attended the reunion. A highlight on Saturday evening was when Donnie Bain lead a group of Alumni spanning three decades in the music of Morning Assembly.
Phil Walker was one of the founding campers in 1969. He was also a CIT and Staff member at Falling Creek in the early 1970’s. He flew in from California for the reunion and entertained everyone with stories of camp from that first summer.
One of the weekend events was an alumni canoe/kayak trip down the Green River.
Thankfully everyone remembered how to roll and it was a great opportunity for staff to talk about how programs have evolved over time.
