Session Descriptions

June Camp
Falling Creek’s June session is a good choice for first time campers excited about all that camp has to offer. It’s also a logical next step for a boy who has attended one of our shorter sessions. The 20-day session offers a wide variety of activities and allows boys an opportunity to build self-confidence as they improve their skills. Campers live in cabin groups of seven or eight and choose their six favorite activities to make up their daily schedule. They also have an opportunity to participate in many out of camp trips including mountain biking, paddling, rock climbing, and backpacking.

Main Camp
Main Camp is Falling Creek’s premier session. Four weeks allows time for our camp community to bond and strong friendships to be formed. Campers experience personal growth as they build on successes each week. Longer trips are offered and opportunities for leadership are a central focus. The Counselor-in-Training program, Honor Council, and many traditions that take place the last week of the session are only offered during Main Camp. After attending one of the shorter sessions, most campers aspire to attend Main Camp.

August Camp
Falling Creek’s August session is a well-rounded camp experience for less experienced campers. The activity schedule is similar to June camp with six daily activity periods, but with fewer out of camp trips. Boys enjoy a wide variety of activities and generally look forward to attending a longer session the following summer.

Junior Camp
Falling Creek’s Junior Camp is a perfect introduction to camp for families looking for a shorter session. Helping boys have fun and build confidence away from home is the central focus of Junior Camp. Enrollment is limited to 198 campers (grades 1-3). Campers sample 12 traditional camp activities with their cabin group during the 6-day session. They also enjoy going on an overnight camping trip. The boys will hike with their counselors to one of our overnight camping spots on the Falling Creek property.

Registration Policies

Registration for the 2012 season is available via online application.

The $750 deposit may be paid via electronic check or mailed to camp. (Your application will not be considered complete until we receive your deposit.)

Waiting List Policy

If we receive your application after we have reached capacity, you will be notified that your son has been placed on our waiting list. Your deposit is fully refundable at any time while you are on the waiting list.

For up to date session availability, please contact our camp office. We anticipate cancellations each year, so we will be able to enroll some boys from our waiting lists. Since waiting list boys receive second priority acceptance the following year, we advise you to place your application and remain on our waiting list even if chances for acceptance seem slim.

Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation of an enrolled camper is necessary, payments, less a $100 administrative fee, are refundable if written notice is received prior to January 1. The $750 deposit is non-refundable for cancellations after January 1. No refund will be made for cancellations after June 1. Applications are accepted for a full term only. No refund will be made for late entrance or early withdrawal, except when caused by serious illness; in this case, the loss will be shared equally by the parent and the camp. The directors reserve the right to dismiss any camper who violates the camp rules or is judged detrimental to the general welfare of the camp. No refund will be made in case of dismissal.

Please Note:

Campers are grouped in cabins based on current grade in school. No more than two campers from the same hometown will be placed in a cabin. To ensure geographic diversity in rare situations, enrollment may be limited from certain cities.

Deposits are fully refundable at any time while you are on the waiting list.
